Burning is permitted within the Township of Montague ONLY with a valid fire permit. Permits are available at the Township Office (Mon-Fri. 9-4:30) at no cost. If you have a permit from a previous year, please contact the office (613-283-7478) to renew your permit.
Prior to burning, please contact the Township Office and if you plan to burn on a weekend, please let the Office know before the close of business on Friday. If you have any questions regarding burning, please contact the Office (613-283-7478) and speak to Fire Chief Haskins.
